Standard Force Sensors

Whether for integrating into a device design, or for your test & measurement project, our standard FlexiForce sensors are available in several shapes, force ranges, and operating capabilities.

Perfect for Prototyping

Tekscan offers a wide range of off-the-shelf FlexiForce sensors for design engineers considering the technology for their embedded design. Most of our customers start with standard sensors early during their prototyping/proof-of-concept stage.

  • Affordable: To keep costs manageable, these sensors are made available in four- and eight-packs for purchase from our online store.
  • Diverse capabilities: Sensors available in high-temperature (up to 200°C (400°F)) formats, and also Enhanced Stability Series (ESS) formats for high-humidity operating conditions.
  • Flexible to your design’s needs: All sensors can be trimmed to whatever size or shape your application requires. Read our best practices for trimming FlexiForce sensors.
  • Position sensors are also available: The FlexiPot™ Strip and Ring tactile potentiometers and/or position sensors are used to identify location or position and adjust output.
